The Axis range shares a common DNA that blends the function of a low profile stage monitor with design detail that allows pole or truss mounted options. The design recognises each products primary application and tailors the aesthetic detail towards this while maintaining a balance that ensures acoustic and functional performance is uncompromised in alternative roles. The advantage of this design ethos is that while the ultra-compact AX8 is proportioned to offer a slim profile when stand mounted, it combines this with a laid back 35° monitor angle making it equally suited to on-stage duty. The larger AX12 and AX15 are proportioned to offer a minimal profile in monitor mode but with symmetrical side angles the cabinets retain a certain elegance when pole mounted. All cabinets in the range benefit from state of the art coaxial driver technology which includes common neodymium magnet structures and delivers unhanded, point source acoustic transparency. The AX8 is a passive product using an integrated 1" exit compression driver and low insertion crossover network designed to work in tandem hybrid mode with the eFlex Q5. Up to twelve units across four sends can be managed from a single eFlex Q5.
Topping the Axis range is Axis AX12 and Axis AX15, a pair of products which benefit from a 1.4" exit compression driver and the option of being externally switched between active or passive mode. In active mode four enclosures can be run from an eFlex Q5 across two sends. Alternatively a Flex Rack can be configured to offer either six bi-amp sends or twelve passive sends. AX12 and AX15 are also available in Alpha specification for those that will only ever use their monitors in the optimum active mode.
